How do you repair your Mickeys?????

Well I have owned this pair of Mickeys for about 8 years they served me well While fishing this past week end I noticed on top of the foot area just below the first eyelet where the rubber is vulcanized in a vee shape it's starting to dry rot and a little flap has opened up First I'd dryed out the boot really good so the wool inside is dry. I have a few good idea's on sealing this up for this year, but I would like to here from other people what they have done and what worked for them

Tire Patch. It works on burlys.

There's a product sold in tubes called "Shoe Goopp".  Toughest stuff I've ever seen.  Check in your local sports supply store.

Tubby , if your in that Binghamton area just hit the shoe dept at DICKS , they have that shoe gooo and it does work good , other than that the old tire patch , then a new pair . Once that dry rot starts , thats it .
