Great time yesterday. Thanks Allen for organizing. Met some awesome people. Looking forward to fishing with some of you guys in the future.

I would like to thank all that made it and help with suggestions to put this day together! It Looked to be about a dozen shanty guys and I believe almost everyone caught fish (as in pickerel...). I had a great time meeting members and getting to put a face to their log-ins. I had hoped for a group pic, but I was too busy eating pizza and watching the eagles... I hope to be fishing with all of you again! Next week I think I will be running North for some lakers and white perch as I don't think the ice will hold much longer around here.

Well it looks like you guys had a decent turnout, caught some fish and weather was good. I wish that I was well enough to get.but been dealing with a cold all week. Hopefully there will be another gathering next season and be able to attend. Good luck on the rest of the ice season.

Had a great time, I didn't get to meet as many people as I would've liked. I was tucked away in the back on the right side of the pond. Action was slow, but couldn't beat the weather and seeing the eagle fly over a few times.

Unfortunately I didn't get anything worth a picture. Few small pickerel and a spooling with a stumping.  Something ran all my line and then it stumped me and had to snap it off.

We still had a great time meeting up with fellow shantinions. 

Papa Sly did get a nice 23½" almost 4lb pickerel though. 

Let's do it again next year, hopefully some better ice for more locations to choose from.
