1st Annual "Grinder" Results

Hello everyone, sorry for the delayed results postings. As I posted yesterday, the Grinder Tourney was considered a success. Sixty one entries! The weather was outstanding and everyone seemed to have a great time. Special thanks to Tightline (Billy) for the ATV, without that getting around the lake to weigh the fish would have been a disaster. Thanks to John and Dave, the venison burgers, venison stew and caribu and goose jerky was outstanding. Simply a great day!

Well here are the weights and payouts...

1st place - 15lb. 13oz pike - "Bassman Stan" (Mike) $305.00 (pic)
2nd place - 13lb. 6 oz. pike - (name withheld at request) $152.00 (pic)
3rd place - 10lb. 13oz. pike - Nathan Hunt $152.00 (sorry no pic)

ps. Of the 61 entries, 16 were Ice Shanty.com users

Hey everyone, yes!, the 2nd Annual Grinder Tourney will be on this year as well, just waiting on ice conditions so I can plan accordingly with a date. Bassman is the man to beat, last years top weight 15lb 13oz. WOW!
