Welcome aboard :) Please post a few reports once the hardwater hits as i have never read an icefishing report from N.S. or even seen one of the fishing shows filming an episode there.

wouldnt be much of a show if they did
ice fishing is just finding its feet in this province
pretty limited for waters open to winter fishing
and species you can target

but its starting to come along now

I am hoping this cold weather gets some ice on the South Mountain lakes near the valley... we are gonna take a hike Friday in hopes there is enough ice to find a chainside.

A few of you guys should try to get a trip in with us to our Weymouth base of operations.... camps on a stillwater with a lake 100 yards in either direction and 4 in total with a short walk... all offer some truly fabulous pickeral action.  I think our first big trip there is the weekend of the Catch the Rainbow tourney but we dont mind missin that for what we have at camp.... February again ahould be a great month so hoping to get several trips in.  Camp sleeps atleast 7 comfortably.

Cheers
Gary
