Vermilion Bay/ Dryden area

Anyone after any ling/burbot in this area? How about any whities? Let's hear some reports.

I don't know anybody around here who targets ling specifically. Viciouscircle took me to a nice lake near Dryden that holds whitefish and lake trout and the occasional ling. I hit Shoal Lake that is 60 miles west of Vermilion Bay for whitefish when I am targetting them.
Lake of the Woods coughs up a few incidental catches of ling as well.

I saw the pic of the ling viciouscircle got, nice one. I hope to be up in Vbay in march, I usually just stay with family there and hit some local lakes for walleye. I want to catch some jumbo perch to, but they all make fun of me for wanting to perch fish. I like to get into some variety. Good luck! Thanks.
