biggest splake caught in copper harbor? plz respond

what is the biggest splake you have or a buddy or you have heard about being caught in copper harbor? pics if you could if not just size thankyou very much ..

Only gone twice, and only two times I've targetted them, but not very large at 16". Considering I'm new to the area and fish, plus have no flasher, I don't think thats too bad. Perhaps a bigger one next time  .

About 24 inches, 5lbs for me.  My buddies have gotten bigger for sure.  Probably 7-8 lb'ers

last march and april the small group of people that i fish with caught 6 splake between 7 - 8 lbs.  i know there were 3 fish that were between 10 - 11 lbs caught last april . the largest i know of was 13.8 lbs and this was caught 4 years ago. there are some truly large fish in the harbor end of march into april and if the ice is still good there is n ot a douby in my mind that a state record is there for the catching. the last day we had fishable ice last year was april 10, iy doesnt look as promising this year.

I have caught plenty of spake 12-15" but can't seem to break the 20" mark. My biggest so far is 19" I've been talking to a few friends and I'd lake to make a trip up to copper harbor for some fishing. Never been there before and I'd like to see what its like out there.

Browning, PM me, my uncle lives in CH and I have fished up there quite a bit. There is a tournament there on March 6th I may be there for, if not I plan on arriving up there on the 8th and im gona be there for 5 days.

Where are you guys finding this info on the tourney? I'd be interested in going. Had good luck and a lot of fun fishing up there a couple weekends ago.

The biggest splake I have ever seen and or heard of coming out of copper harbor is mounted at the Cliff View bar on the front wall! They got quite a few years ago a possible 8 years ago. They got it right at the break between hunters point and porters island. nice fish!
