Tough fishing for my little group this weekend. I think a lot of guys were up this weekend trying to get ready for the tournament and the added pressure might have been spooking them. My goal for my first season was a 30" fish and Saturday I hauled up a 29 1/2" fish..... I was really happy to get a nice one though on my first season up here. We caught lakers in as little as 8 fow and as much as 71 fow. We hand drilled well over 100 holes both days and did a TON of walking. I cant get enough of this place though! (Every blue pin is a hole I drilled on Saturday)

Nice, 29 1/2 is a great fish.  Looks like you guys got a good workout and were rewarded.

Definitely a good work out. Not as many as last weekend though. Better quality. My buddy lost a 25"+ fish at the hole and I caught 4 more over 20" only one little guy at 14" he was my deepest fish to, funny enough.

I never fished up there until this year so I may have set my bar a little low lol. That's a damn nice fish!! Everyone on the lake would know I just caught one cause I'd be yelling and jumping up and down like a little kid on Christmas lol.
