Hello everyone. I'm thinking about heading up to the Moosehead derby with a few buddies. I have never fished the lake before. Can anyone point me in the right direction as far as a decent spot to try?? I'd like to target lake trout. I would rather catch a bunch of smaller ones, then nothing at all. What depths, top/bottom, type of bait, etc. would be helpful...as I know all lakes are a little different. I'm just looking for a general area obviously. I would be fishing from the Greenville side because I would be coming from Bangor. Also...any suggestions on a affordable place to stay in the Greenville area would be appreciated. Thanks a bunch.
