My first and Second Flags of the Day Today, Well actually My Only Flags of the Day and I failed on Both of them. And this was at the Andy Cadell 3rd Annual Fishing Derby on Kingston Lake in New Hampshire. It's still good though as the Money goes for a good cause.  It was still Fun Too! I was really hoping to get some good video of Me actually Catching some fish...lOl

I bend the tips out a little more, helps to set it.

Make sure that the hook point isn't buried into the bait.
The minnow can thrash about just enough to turn the hook around and prevent you from getting a hookset.
I've had that happen to me too many times, but persistance does pay off.
