Arctic Clam Boots ?
« on: Nov 20, 2009, 09:28 PM »
Has anyone else wondered why there are only womens and youth sized boots ? Not that I don't think they should be offered to women and youths, but why on earth would they exclude the biggest group of their customer base from them...

PS... I'm in the market for new boots.

Mickeys are nice but dang they're heavy. I've used the LaCrosse Icemans for years...much lighter and just as warm...jmo

I love my mouse boots! Had some trouble trying to find cleats that fit them though? Any one else had any luck?

I have a pair of Timberlands now they are about 12 years old and it's time to retire them. I'm thinking about a pair of Baffins bt I'd like to hear any feed back on the Arctic  Armour boots.

Theres another post about putting small screws in the bottom to create a permanent cleat. Small 1/4" to 1/2" long hex head self tapping screws. These boots are the warmest Ive ever own, best on waterproof which is even more important.
