Can't find Bee Moths? Check your local pet store. Most of them sell Bee Moths for people to feed their pets. Most people don't know this.

I run a pet store and sold a lot of waxies yesterday. Nice to chat with folks about fishing. We also sell calciworms which look like a big spike

I tried raising some one year. They got huge! Not really worth the effort since we rarely get much ice any more.  And I don't use them in open water.

Use to raise them each year, 1960's thru 1990's! when we had good ice seasons.Twice the size as store bought! Used them in open water until about ten years ago. Went to Gulp, just as good!
