Anyone try it this weekend? Also, is there a way to get on that doesn't have a hill? Not sure my knee can handle the launch by the sticks or the nature center.

At the launch over by the horseman's campground. East end I think.

I talked to several people on Saturday and Sunday. Most said the bite was slow but some fish were being caught. Ice thickness was around 4 inches of solid ice. One guy said to be sure to wear cleats because the covering of snow on the slick ice was scary. This was at the East Boat Launch (go in the main gate and turn left. Follow signs and don't hit the bobcat(s).

Area near dam thawed very well over Saturday and Sunday. Very unsafe by the dam! No report from West Boat Launch or Nature Center.

Was out Saturday caught 5 fishes. No keepers.
4" of Ice.

East boat ramp by the cemetery, fished the sticks straight out about 200 yds.
2 Thursdays   ago took 49 nice fish(crappie perch and gills) from same area.

4 or 5 shanty's out towards the middle,catching a few.

Probably hitting it Saturday, pending on snow totals.
