I'm gonna prob hit up our local Allen county poop lake this morning for a little bit before work. If anyone is getting out there this morning swing by and say hi.

Some good rat kids and locals. Gotten some gas cap stolen once and had a 10 year old try to fight me. He was smoking a cig. He prob would have won.

Got a gator last fall finally. Just a juvenile on a crankbait for late season bass.

Lake was covered with snowmobile tracks. Kinda crazy cuz it was 4.5 inches nut not quality ice. A few whacks with the spud. Auger brought up big chunks. Since nobody else was fishing I stayed close to shore. Got some gills in 4 ft of water. They were inches below the ice. I practicly flipped one out of the hole on hookset. Got a couple of decent bass in 5 fow in heavy weed area. They were suprisngly very dark. Only fished a bit. Might have ventured out longer if someone else was fishing

It's the toilet water that gives them that nice dark color. Nice catch!

It's only 8 minutes from my house or I prob wouldn't fish it. Can be some decent crappie. Bass get a little better each year. Nothing special but close and had ice
