Well me and Scummer made our way to the Bayou this morning, first time there this year due to lack of the hard stuff. Ice seems to building solid now with a good 8-10 inches solidly in place. Tried to reach Manny, but I think his girlfriend stole his guitar case! so I left a message on the cell. Not many people at the Bayou today compared to this time last year.
The day started off well with a regular Bayou sized Pike. We setup about 10 tipups and couple of jigging rods accompanied by our signature case of C2
Heres the "Bait du jour" 6 inch sardines hehehe!!!
Another Bayou beauty makes an appearance...
We had a few more....had one rip the tip up down like a freight train, only to break us off at the hole, amongst others. As mentioned earlier....I couldn't reach Manny, but....what was this on the ice?
