Ice Spinners
« on: Nov 28, 2008, 08:38 PM »
So, I am still pretty new to ice fishing, and doing some shopping on ebay.   I came across some ice spinners, I was wondering what the opinion of these things are.  Are they more effective then just a jig head or a spoon?

I use rooster tails to catch almost any type of fish that swims, but never thought to vertically jig with them.

Well, I don't know anything about these in particular but I know spinning blades can come at the expense of twisted line >:(  Having said that, I really like arnolds fairy jig or the others out there that basically mount 2 little colarodo blades near the eye of the jig.  They don't spin though, just flap and flicker around and this seems to drive fish nuts at times.  Who knows, they might work good.  good fishin
