focus 5 heater

i was wondering if anyone has tried a heater element from a focus 3  in a focus 5 . i work in a machine shop and  was wondering if you could just  make an adapter.or cut it and weld on the threaded end?

I've got the focus 5 and have been on the look out for a new bulb for a while now. Coleman said "we haven't sold that heater in 15 years, no we don't have you part in stock!"

They won't supply you with parts because of all of the lawsuits they lost because of that heater. You may like the heater but they do make better and safer ones now. Invest in yourself, and buy a safer heat source. In the long run, you are way ahead.  :tipup:
