Title: 8" Nils head on 6" auger

I have a 6" Nils works perfect for most of my fishing but looking at fishing for some bigger species once or twice a year. I was gonna buy a second auger but found a great deal on a 8" Nils head wondered if I could just swap the head on to pop a few holes. I know its not gonna clear the hole but Pa only gets less than 12" of ice so I could scoop it, if it fits on the smaller auger.

  The holes for the retaining bolt won't line up so you'd have to drill a hole.

Thanks! I figured it had to harder than just bolting it on. I'll just grab a Nero or something cheap for those times then.

had the same idea to try. the 6" works great but an 8" hole would be mighty handy. thanks Sharp for clearing this up.

Does nero have an 8 inch?
