Is $400 a good price................

Is $400 a good price for a brand new in the box vexilar fl12 ultra pack.  An opportunity to make such a buy has come into play and need some feedback.

Not sure about the ultra pack, but Fleet Farm has fl-12 with genz pack for $310.

I think ultra packs cost like $60. So if you bought the Genz pack Fl-12 for $310 from fleet farm and didn't like the genz you could sell it on ebay and buy the ultra pack. I image you'd have like a fl-12 ultra for like $350 after you sell the genz pack. I am not sure how easy it is to switch from one pack the the next though.

You might want to check out Vexilars website for reconditioned units. I just bought an Fl20 ultra pack that was priced at $414, but had them change to a different transducer and 2 day shipping and it cost me $499 dilivered. Just a thought. It has a 2 yr warranty.

Just went to their site and you can get a Fl18 Pro pack ll with 12 degree cone for $369. Look under parts at the top to get to reconditioed units.

Easy switch, I even switched my Marcum to a  Vex case!

Picked up a brand new FL-18 with the blue  pack, for 329 a couple of weeks ago.
