Old fl 8 vexilar

Picked up two old fl8  vexilars at a second hand store one needs a transducer.  Does anyone have one laying around they would like to sell. Or know where I Might find one? We are still ice fishing in MN so I would like to restore these units to their old glory and give to the neighbor boys.

A good all around transducer has a 12 deg cone angle ...also if you tend to fish shallow water ...less than 10 fow I would suggest a S cable ...cuts power/clutter in half

The only problem with the old fl8's was fishing near others. It has no IR button for interference from other flashers. You can pick up old flashers cheap then spend a lot on a new transducer.

The Vexilar company refurbishes old units and when they come back they are like new.  Look up Vexilar customer service on-line.

It's nice to do business the "old school"  way and trust people.  Thorson and I talked back and forth over this site regarding the transducer.  I sent the transducer to him with the assurance that he would send me a check for the agreed amount.  I sent it to him last week and today I received the check.  Thanks Todd and I hope it works out great for your neighbor!
