FYI

The temperature this morning is -4 degrees!!!  The ice continues to only get thicker.

And, Lake Trout season closed April 1!

I had 0*f this morning. I was on Lake Superior chequamegon bay yesterday we had 24” of hard solid ice. Lake Superior is usually very early to open up, not this year. This year may be the latest ice we have had in my lifetime.
The farmers are not happy. Still a good 10” of snow on the ground in my yard. The sun has not yet touched the ice around here since maybe early January.

I also fished Chequamegon yesterday with poor.results....doesn't look to be the last time though!

Up here in the Great White North we will prob have less than our proverbial "2 months of bad sleddin' between our 10 months of winter!! ;D

I heard this morning on the radio still 48" of ice on Lake of the Woods.

Bottoming out the auger in Todd County. Bottom 6 inches are pretty soft and top few inches is hard packed snow. Roughly 30" of good ice still.
