First off, I wanted to say Congrats, on getting a KS forum going on here. I have searched and searched to try and come up with something for KS, but could never find anything. Thanks for this Goose!
Second, I live here in Valley Center, north of Wichita, so ventured out to the east lake last night in search of some trout. Did decent last year there for them, but couldn't find anything last night. I drilled some holes and it's right around 4 inches thick. Stuck the Marcum out and found I was only in 2.5 foot of water. Same spot as last year, so it is definitely down some as I thought it was shallow last year. Did miss two, but pretty sure they were gills. Going to venture out a bit further tonight and see what happens. Since I work till 4, this helps ice fishing fix until I can make it out somewhere on the weekends. I will post up when I hear or see anything from around here.
