Uinta's This Weekend?

OK..so I got reports that there's fishable ice up the Mirror Lake Hwy so I plan to venture up there Saturday morning. Anyone else up to come along? UDOT website says Hwy is still open so hoping that the break between the storms will align with Saturday and that the road will be pass-able.
Plan to head out pretty early to be up there at sunrise so let me know if you are up to venture along.

Good luck I think with the weather coming in on Saturday I will pass on that trip be safe hopefully you find them fish

Would love to tag along but will have to take a past this time, other things going on. Be safe up there damon and keep us in the loop on how it goes. We were on the golden spot 3yrs ago today. Hook em up

Forecast for western Uinta Mountains:

Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 6 to 12  inches, highest amounts across western portions. Winds gusting  as high as 50 mph.

I’m seeing tomorrow is your day to fish, but the highway will probably be closed after today. Maybe for the season! Tough to say.

Yeah...the break in the storms didn't pan out as hoped and it was a no-go.
