Yes...I heard that the bayous were skimmed over a couple of days ago. Hoping to get up there this weekend.

Captain Chucks II posted a video on their Facebook page a few days back saying it's a go up there.


They also checked PM Lake and it was a go also.

NP, I checked their page again today and they said a tug busted through PM lake to let a freighter through. So tread lightly if you find yourself there.

I was told yesterday by a local that a few were fishing out in front of the public access and out in front of the scout camp. Didn't know any ice thickness. Second hand info, so take it for what it's worth.

I’m planning a trip Jan 12-16. Any updates on ice conditions? Any quad or sled travel yet? Never ice fished Hamlin before and any tips would be greatly appreciated!

I was up for New Years and there was plenty of ice out from Wilson hill.

Sleds and utv’s out on the ice.
