This doesn't look good....

The 14 day forecast keeps showing a wash for the 06 ice season....we're moving into February...it would take 2 weeks of solid -10 or lower to build enough ice to salvage a spring ice season...that will put us into mid Feb. ....I'm beginning to lose hope....

Hopes already gone for the seaway and Boucherville.  So little ice that I was drifting worms and flies today with the hopes of a brown or rainbow.  Not a bite but spooked fish twice near shore  ??? >:(

Mikey, got a call this evening saying that there is still lot's of ice on the Milles-Iles.  Feel like going this weekend, would you be up to it??  I have never seen the numbers that we see in the St-Larry, but, there's a pile of muskies (ask Jean Pagé  ;) ;)) and they are in season.  There's also an untapped population of crappies.

Anyways, looking for solutions.  I'll give you a call tomorrow, see how many minnows to buy.
