I've found that any Frabill product that uses that yellow plastic on their hinges or snap tops ends up breaking in very short order.  The stuff doesn't stand up well in cold temps.

My buddy's got one and it really keeps the bait fresh and strong. He loves it.

The one I got has a gray top, and looks to be pretty strong. Guess I will find out this weekend. Just had the wife pick up a 12 volt batt. for it today. It says it even has a light in it for at night, so I can pick out that lucky minnow in the dark!!

Well I got to use my bait pail this weekend. It really worked great. I for got the 12 volt batt. at home, so I just use 2 D cell batt., and she worked all weekend. it kept the bait fresh and live all weekend. The only thing I don't like is the light. It is not very bright, and with the bubbles you can see anything anyway. All in all its a good product. :D :D

I was interested in their new model Mino-Life Bait Station 1404 which just came out a few months ago. I couldn't find it anywhere and contacted Frabill. They said it's sold out until spring.

The one I have been talking about above is #1409. My wife got it for me at Gander. What is the 1404 just smaller or what?

You can see it on their website I think :-/. It looks like a small rectangular cooler w/hindged lid. The air unit is mounted on the side and it looks to have a slide up tray to get the minnows out of the water. It looked functional and it looked to be a nice size.

Ya I would have to say the 1409 is a bit on the big side. It would work great for a longer trip like for walleyes, where you would be staying for a few nights, but for an afternoon on the water its a pain to move from spot to spot. She will hold about 3000 minnows and 5 or 6 gallons of water about 40 to 50 LBS!!! But cooler of beer  has got to be at lease that much.
