Title: Anyone ever try baitcloud as a attractant?
Post by: dinick on Nov 12, 2016, 07:37 PM
Hi I was wondering if anyone has tried this new baitcloud attractant yet? Any thoughts or reviews would help looking to try it out this season for ice fishing perch.

Thanks

There are things that help you catch fish. Then there are things that catch fisherman.

I went to Amazon to check out their customer reviews, most are saying that it is a waste of money. The only 5 star review came from a person who hasn't yet tried the product...I guess some reviews are better than others.

One came in my mystery tacklebox, I dropped it down the hole while fishing was slow for Spits and Wiggles, and wow My flasher looked like a Christmas tree for 10 minutes.. My fishing buddy and I still joke that, "it works so well the fish stacked on top of each other from top to bottom but were all too full to catch"

Tried an old school version years ago with an alka seltzer half dipped in wax. Bubbles wreaked havoc on the vex. Made marking fish impossible.

I wouldn't waste my money, as the saying goes if it sounds too good to be true it probably is.

I run a bakery and I've tried "chumming" with various bread crumbs, egg shells in scent etc.  As people have said, hard to read a sonar after for some time until everything settles, and i never goat any amazing results.

That video is nice but was posted by bait cloud , I've never seen a company promote anything bad about their products , bubbles do screw with finders as we all know

I know this is kind of a dead thread, but if anyone comes across it, here's a video review I found with an underwater camera to see how well the baitclouds work.
