Answered my own question for anyone that cares. There will be no tournament this year. It is usually sponsored by Bearwood bait and tackle out of Skaneateles, thought it was the rod and gun club. Called, was told didn't want any part of it with the current ice conditions this year. Hopefully next year!!

Usually make a trip to otisco once a year. Haven't been yet this year. Roughly how many inches is the North end right now? Will have my spud. How is shore ice holding up? How much snow.

Was out Saturday 15th, 300ft off the county park, 2 inches of clear ice, 2 inches of white, then another 2-3 inches of clear ice again below that. Plenty of people and some snowmobilers. Anyone else know, especially in the middle?

Thanks for info. Still debating whether to go out by guard rail or county Park. How many vehicles can park at the county Park? Do you get a ticket for parking along road? Usually we have private access in Amber but the guy we usually go with is out of town

go to the guard rail it's safer just watch for a gas hole the occurs every yearabout 40 yards out
