If your looking to get out because the surface is covered in snow don't be fooled. Lots of cracks and water on surface all week including last night. Not sure when it will be safe with the forecast for more rain

I like the kayak it's fun ...and I don't know about bigal in your boat..if you put him in the back you won't be able to

see over the bow..if you put him in the front your motor won't be in the water..if he's in the middle your boat isn't gonna stay afloat

there are guys on the ice today. Did not check on thickness but be careful on shoreline. Its still soft along parts of the west side of the narrows. Don't know about near parking and rocks

This was sent to me from a buddy who works at ocwa, The water is4+"above the spillway (dam) witch=22 millon gallons a day over the dam ,the Gates are set at 29 millon gallons a day witch is 51 millon gallons a day into the creek ( nine mile) ,yes we're making ice just slow ,be safe and have fun

Drove by after work, 3 guys out on the bay. Walked out, there's a bit over 4" and the shoreline is solid. Going to attempt it in the morning, get out for a few hours and try my luck. Be safe out there and good luck!
