..ive been that way.its kunda up n down bottom in there theres humps and holes.could be 10 fow n then move 10 yrds could be 3 fow..ya never know whats over there gotta try it n see what happens is all u can do

took the sled out today and the ice is nice, no slush, hard pack snow,
should be a good weekend.

Thus is just my opinion and experience use dead bait or clip a I'm off of shines fish are lethargic rite now they want an easy meal my last 2 northern I caught were on dead shivers

the weekend on the ice was tough,
sat was sunny and a little breeze kites where flying but not flags,
there was not a single tiger caught that was legal,and no trout
the fish to beat that day was the perch
9 1/4"and a 9"won it all for Saturday.
sunday a 41-1/2 tiger and a 37'' tiger was caught before 9:00 am
and a 12-1/4 "perch and a hand full of smaller perch where caught

My buddy and i fished yesterday morning from 8am till around 130.put out our tip downs and done pretty good on perch..ended up with 70 between both of us and gill of course..8 fow...down to 4 fow.was good perching..no crappies ...most of the perch were around 8 inches..was gonna go again today but my arms told me no alot a ice out there.

. Was close to the damn area i seen a little open water in front of the dam .was a fun day

What are the ice conditions out on the North end? Haven't made it out in a few weeks and was curious just how much ice there is out there.
