I've heard of a couple 40's, not real big ones though. Hopefully we can get a Derby or 2 and we'll see something big.

Bigguy

Most of the biggest Crappies are on the pond side.  It receives very little fishing pressure and the DEC does most of its Walleye stocking down there.  I have seen and taken some nice fish from there.  I'm amazed that so many of the walleyes swim thru the causeway to the big side.

Those bigger tigers are in there. Got a buddy that's been going out and exploring the west side of the lake and he's got a few bigger ones with smaller ones mixed in. I'll ask him if he has any pics.

In the mean time here's one he got in August.

Cleaning small gills yields more meat that small perch - so my keep ave. gill is 7 - 8" and any thing bigger is def going home with me. But, the ave. gills I get here are about 5 -6"
Anyone can be a fisherman in May...E.H.

On the lake now, just north of marina off rocks. Walking on top, no slush, couple inches of snow. No fish either.

yup  except I think any gill over  8 is a  fine bluegill......  I  keep  6 1/2  off  otisco  when I  don't mind  cleaning and  want a  diner, great  tasteing fish
