Well since you asked. This is gonna suprise you and many others. I have literally 100's of dollars in spoons-ice fishing jigs etc. and I caught that fish on a mr. twister tiped with a perch minnow. Mr. Friggen Twister.....

Paid the price today though, I spent from 9am till 5:30 pm and did not catch a fish..... New it was to good to be true! Well no matter what I caught that fish and it aint changing!

Thats a dandy! we get some slobs up over ten lbs. up on the end of ontario, bite is a little hotter the end of febuary. 12 lbs is my personal best. Caught the one in my profile pic the other day while perch fishin up that way

Spent 10 hrs on the river yesterday without a fish, I may consider some pills after that abuse!

HT medium/heavy rod 6lb test. PATIENCE is the trick having a good spot helps...

Yeah, right! Since then I have spent a total of 19 hrs on the Ice, 12hrs 1 day and 7 the other and have not hit a Waldo since that day. Some days your the Dog and most days your the Hydrant .

must have been different lighting, the other one i saw looked paler and had a lamprey scar or something. Anyway thems nice fish. Good fishing there. I sure would like to have that river in my back yard. Keep those pics coming, preciate it.
