The boys and I are headed down to the Blackfoot Reserve, MT from Alberta on/about Mar. 1, 2017 for our annual 3 day trip. We are hoping for ice but with the recent crazy warm weather may be we need to bring our soft water gear and waders? Any ice, snow and fishing report updates from the area would be most appreciated! Cheers!

Was just at Mission.  The roads in are fine, not really any snow.  about 15" of ice.  no water on top of ice.

was on the reserve today ...if going to mission stay to the furthest left road, Duck lake campground road drifted in..west end access open...lake snow covered, Four Horns road drifted in, Hidden lake road drifted in. Fished Mission for an hour ..caught one measured 20 inches..didnt see any others on camera. Mission has skiffs of snow on it. Lots of good ice, no open water yet.

Dang JZ. Your first two posts are chock full of great info. Nicely done. After your next post (3rd), you'll have access to the 'reports and conditions' page (in case you didn't already know that).

Hey guys, I have been looking for a map on the water depth on Four Horns.  Cant seem to find any info on how deep it is. Cant seem to get a call back from those game warden numbers posted.
