i was thinking about getting a few jigs and was wondering if anyone had any favorite jigs or colors for each.

If you're just starting out I would concentrate on a few of different sizes in white, green, chartreuse, and black. Sizes running from # 12 down to a # 16. Exact patterns can get expensive. Over time you'll accumulate many patterns that are more effective on one lake compared to another.

i love moonjigs for panfish.  tiny ones colored in black with red or purple sparkle.  tip with a waxie through the head and the gills and crappie and sometimes a stray perch go nuts! ye-haw! :thumbsup:

check out custom jigs and spins....swear by them...not at them....
