I have a c-fish panning cam. the only reason i got was for the panning feature. don't use it anymore due to the size and cumbersome way to lower and raise the cam. I have seen the smaller models of aqua vue and marcum. wish they had panning feature, so if you can design a panning feature and keep everything compact and easy to raise and lower, would be great.

We tried our new eyoyo today.  Works good but few things would make it even better.  The viewing screen we have the 9 inch.  Which we would recommend .  Needs better lighten.,maybe more lights.  Also needs to viewing better for distance.  Over all for the money we recommend it.  We saw fish and we were impressed. Thank you and happy fishing

Hey Bob,

I have the 9 inch model and am happy so far with using it to see fish going after my lure.  Biggest thing I would suggest is to have it save the video footage in a better, more user friendly, format (like mp4).

After doing some research into the .AVI file (which it creates on the micro sd card) it looks like it is using .jpg base codec format and combining it into a .AVI file as the video file. The .AVI file isn't easily viewable and doesn't work in any of my editing software or even in windows media player.  The only way I can even watch it on my computer is to install and old version of Apple Quicktime.  this if far from ideal.  If I want to edit the footage I have to use a 3rd party application (handbrake) to be able to convert every single underwater video .AVI file into an mp4 file in order to use them. Very annoying and not user friendly for the average consumer.

I have reached out to you through amazon, and I hope you could create a firmware file for me to use to update the camera DVR to record in a better format.

I have a 1.3k sub youtube channel I make weekly fishing videos on and would love to be able to more easily include clips from the Eyoyo camera into my footage/videos!

Got one of these towards the end of the season last year
Was thinking about getting an extra battery for longer trips
Anybody no where to order one or has anyone redone the cables to say a flasher battery?

Get a Milwaukee M18 converter to 12v. Attach to your 9ah or 12ah drill battery after you drill your holes. Power plug goes directly into converter. At 12ah, (12000mah) your camera with a 7" monitor should run about 30 hours. DeWalt, Rigid & Ryobi also offer converters. All about $25. They also have a UBS port to charge your phone.

A friend of mine bought one last season. You won't find a better deal for the price. Lightweight,  compact and works as it should. Only issue was battery life. If you fish all day you will need an extra battery.
When my 10 year old fish cam dies I will buy one for sure.

They are releasing a new heated jacket soon; I'd assume they will have a 12v adapter as part of that system.

reading they are using the 18v battery and just a heated windbreaker and not water resistant. 1 year warranty. comes with 18v to 5v usb power source. no 12v option from ridgid yet.

i just got one of these little eyoyo cameras a  month or so ago for the price i cant say anything bad about it. i have not had much chance to use it but i would say that a little better system to set the angle of the camera would be great i cant really figure out how to use the littl parts and clips to set the angle. also a little tripod to hang over the hole with asome sort of spiner to spin it around. that panning cam looks cool can it be used on the smaller unit

All batteries drain fast in the cold weather. I will put hand warmers on my fish finder to heat keep battery warmer, is it a good idea?
Anyway, you can contact the seller to see if they can sell you an extra battery. My seller agent should have some batteries for sale now!

I am more about keeping my batteries dry, both locator and cordless drill types. As for my locator, as long as I go out with a full charge, it will last all day, regardless of conditions. For the battery pack on my drill, I made a couple of sleeves out of thin, waterproof styrofoam sheets for them. Keeps them dry for sure. While they certainly don't create heat, they probably keep a little heat in during use, prolonging the charge somewhat. JMO.

Hey Bob from Eyoyo, we've been talking thru PM found this thread so I thought I would talk here. As I said in the PM's I'm wanting to buy one, probably in a week or less so I get it before safe ice.

As I said in my PM I've found 3 places that sell it, Amazon, Ebay, and Walmart. Several sellers on Ebay sell the model I'm interested in the cheapest is for $119. Here's the link. Can you check it out, is this a distributer of yours, if not will Eyoyo still honor the 1 year warranty.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/EYOYO-7-TFT-Color-Monitor-Underwater-50M-Fish-Finder-Fishing-Camera-1000TVL-HD/281949211799?hash=item41a57b8c97:g:7gcAAOSw3utY7ztf (https://www.ebay.com/itm/EYOYO-7-TFT-Color-Monitor-Underwater-50M-Fish-Finder-Fishing-Camera-1000TVL-HD/281949211799?hash=item41a57b8c97:g:7gcAAOSw3utY7ztf)

I don't buy on Amazon so that's no option for me. Walmart does sell the one but they're wanting to much for it, maybe its one of your higher end cameras where you can tape video and transfer with a scan disc.

I don't think this would work for the Eyoyo camera.

The Eyoyo camera does not use terminals to connect to the battery it uses a plug so how would you connect this converter to the camera.

(https://i.postimg.cc/2VYPS2Bx/bat.jpg) (https://postimg.cc/2VYPS2Bx)

Here is a drawing I made showing the only way I would know to connect a Vexilar type battery to the camera. You would have to cut the wire coming out of the Eyoyo battery and add a Pos/Neg terminals. I am told this would void the battery warranty but wouldn't void the camera warranty.

The code didn't work on the ebay seller link I added in my post before this one. So I went to Amazon and checked their cost and your's was $107, ebay cheapest was $119. I've never bought on Amazon so I made an account and added it to the cart. It took your promotion code and I ended up paying $97 + taxes. should get it in a week or 2 so hoping we get ice buy then.

Was just letting you know the code didn't work on ebay(price was $119) but it worked on Amazon(price was $107).

Got the camera today and it looks great, I do have one question. Is the camera like security cameras where the color shuts off when sunlight is low. I ask because when I first got it it was around 2pm there was sunlight shining in the kitchen and everything showed its true color. I turned it on later around 5pm and everything looked pinkish or blk/white. But if I pointed at to the bright TV the TV picture had all its color but everything around it was Blk/White.

Won't know till this summer but I'm thinking of trying this setup for trolling. I'll try this on small game fish before attempting Musky fishing.

If this works I'll wish I had bought a camera with recording so I could post a video it online.

1.Attach loops to rod  and run cable thru the loops as shown in Manual like Joy listed above.
2. Put a small split shot weight on line about 2 foot from lure, this will keep the camera from sliding up to the lure
3 Add plastic loops to the to eye hooks ontop of the camera then run fishing line thru these 2 loops. THis will keep the camera pointed right at the lure.
4. While letting fishing line out let cable line out and try to keep the same amount of line and cable out so there's no slack in the cable.
5. Here's the hard part. If a fish hits lure it will be tuff getting the cable in while fighting/reeling in fish. I plan on hand pulling the cable while in like you would when fly fishing.

If this works it will be awlsome seeing a fish hit the lure while trolling

Here's a couple videos on why I'm hoping I can get the Eyoyo UW camera to work trolling.

I'll be kicking myself in the butt for not buying the DVR recording unit if it works. Guess I'll just have to figure some other way to record with the one I bought, maybe video record the screen.

Hi sir, what device do you mention? Could you pls give more details?

On the Gen 2 Cam Build video it looks like the only device that is in color is the computer monitor. The tv flat screen looks to be in black & white.

Here's a couple videos on why I'm hoping I can get the Eyoyo UW camera to work trolling.

You have a great idea. But pls note our camera is a little heavy. Pls test and see if you can make it work.

Hello everyone,

This is Bob from Eyoyo underwater fishing camera company!

We would like to collect some suggestions for the future development of our underwater cameras, especially when it comes to ice fishing.

And please share with me what is your brand fishing camera and what is like/dislike about your underwater camera.
Thank you!

Hey not sure if this is still active or not. I have had the eyoyo camera going on my second ice fishing season now. I’m having issues getting it to work now after taking it out once it worked fine for a couple hours and now I can’t get the dang thing to turn on. Thinking the battery may be pooched? Is there somewhere to purchase a replacement battery or is there a warranty that covers the battery?

Got to try ours for the first time this weekend- absolutely impressed!  The camera resolution is fantastic as is the display.  Great field of view even in 21' of water with 15" of ice and 12" of snow on top of that.  My wife and son retreated to the shack when things got cold and set it up- perch were biting extremely light and very finicky.  Had they not set up the Eyoyo, we'd caught half as many fish for the weekend.  They had a blast watching fish come in, flare up and take the bait (or in some cases, get out of Dodge  ;D).

Very impressed thus far.  Battery ran for five hours in sub-20 degree temps and was still going when we shut down.  Will probably purchase another (how?) for long weekend trips.

My only concern long-term is the cord connection to the monitor- in particular, the sharp fold that it makes when you close the lid.  My original AquaVu camera failed at that location (poor quality to begin with).  I think in the off season, we'll take the monitor out of the housing and store with the cord relaxed where it bends into the monitor.

I just got a camera off ebay, figured it was an EYOYO however I dont see any proof on the item i got. It however is a piece of crap. About 144p type resolution, led screen glitches and flashes lines in the cold. I could only stand to look at it for about 30 min before i gave up on it.. Id be interested in testing a true EYOYO camera ( just the cam i have everything else)

Glad to hear you like it. We are much more appreciated if you could leave a product review for it on the product link. It's really useful to other customers.
And pls contact our customer service to get the battery. Here is the email: [email protected]
As for the code connection, pls don't worry about it. So far, we haven't encountered the problem of fracture. If you have any questions in the future, pls feel free to let me know. ;)

Any chance since you do not use the c-fish camera you would be interested in selling it?  I have been looking for one.

Thanks
Scott

The white lights is visible while the ir lights almost has no interference to fish. Basically there is no difference. You can give me feedback when you receive the product and test it.

Hi I opened eyoyo camera, it was good. I close my room lights and check it was still running in black white mode. I have a small problem I think 15 m is bit smaller for me as we put camera little bit far from fishing hole. Is it any possibility of getting 30 m wire. Thanks for fast service. I will definitely refer to my friends if it goes good in water. Thanks

Suggestions, an adapter with a 6' cable to plug into an outlet, and a video out jack, for us wheel house guys w/TVs.  The lake I fish has cribs, with various species hanging around, or coming and going all day.  My eyes are glued to the TV/camera all day - better than watching anything else.

I have a Marcum already, with these features, but interested in a high def one. Both Marcum and Aqua Vu have HDMI outputs.  The EYOYO looks intriguing though, but not without AC capability and TV connectivity.

I just purchased a used Eyoyo Model EF 360 fishing camera with the 360 degree camera. The unit came without a battery charger. Eyoyo will send me a replacement, but it won't arrive for 40 days. Is there somewhere in the US where I can purchase a charger compatible with the battery pack that comes with this model?

Bob at EYOYO, I just bought a 9" TFT, HD 1000TVL. Is there a serial number someplace so I can register it for warranty?
Question also, what is the long wire on the camera for? I hope to get on the ice tomorrow to try it out. Where can I buy
         an extra battery?
 thanks, dave

Eyoyo 9" model EF09R; I have used it several times  before the ice went out. Color is very good and it's easy to see
my 2mm jig much further than the other camera I have. I used it in a my hub and super good to watch my cadence and
reaction from the fish. Easy to use and glad I got the 9". Recording weeds, fish, jigs is very usefull. Good camera and good
price. I have recomended it to several others who have watched this unit in action.
