big sandy lake

have not been here for years usually made up every long weekend in may, fishing was great does anyone fish it in the winter :o

its been a few years since I fished that lake in the winter.  the fishing wasn't bad caught lots of pike in that 3 to 5 lbs. range and a few perch.   we searched for the walleyes in there but couldn't find them.

Walleyes can be tough to find in that lake, fish it a lot in the summer and can find pike everywhere but only a few spots seem to hold more than a random walleye. Hoping to get at least one day on the ice when we head up to little bear
