Not looking good at all, and the fishing was just starting to get good... caught 27 gills and a couple dink largemouth yesterday. I gotta make a trip down to Indy today, so no ice time for me.  :-\

Local forecast is total trash after tomorrow.

I feel the pain. Just hope that next week's rain and warm weather doesn't rot all the ice that may be left. It should get colder just like in years past. Giving us a split season.

That's what I'm hoping... local ice was about 7.5" yesterday with minimal snow, and it was -4° when I got up this morning, so hoping it can survive long enough to firm up again.

White River is frozen solid in Indy today.

If we get lucky and its below freezing overnight, it should last.

Looking ahead the next 15 days will be above freezing. Looks like a shorter season again.
