Wow! When you hooked into that beast, that had to have taking some time, especially with 4lb. How long did it take and the weight on it.

I was actually dropping down to the bottom while eating my lunch when I noticed my line was going much faster then normal, when I stoped the line my pole doubled over and needless to say my lunch was just thrown out of the way.  And I didn't have scales with me but I would guess 16-17 pounds.   And it was 1 hour 15 minutes from start to finish.   It got tangled in another line inside the shanty so I had to hand line the fish while my buddy untangled the lines.   It was a long stressful expierence!

Nice job! I had a similar experience the other day with a big laker on light line myself. Fun stuff for sure.  Anyone have any ideas on where to look for line class records?

Maybe it was heavier but from my expierence catching lakers one that size goes In the 15-18 pound range
