Title: Ted's bait

As many of you know Ray over at Ted's has been in an accident and is recovering in a nursing home. the shop has been closed.  It is supposed to re open Friday, Saturday, Sunday this week. Alan and Ray's nephew will be there.

Oh wow thanks for the update! I knew Ray was down and out. Good to hear he's recovering. I'll swing in Saturday if I'm fishing or not!.

A little bit of every where lol, working bought a house wife had a baby, you know lifee. I've been fishing more than posting here though.

Thanks for the update about Ray. Stopped by twice last week and the chain was up.
Glad to hear he is getting better at least. I was beginning to worry. Been buying bait from Ray and his Father Ted for many years.
He always has good healthy shiners.

Does anyone know if Ted's is selling shiners on the weekends? Flik n dip had mentioned that Ray's nephew might be opening the shop.

I read in the bargain buyer yesterday that they are open on fridays 3-6 pm and open on saturdays 6am-6pm

Bought bait there last Saturday.  New proprietor said he would be open Friday, Saturday and Sunday going forward.  $7 a dozen for medium shiners, not bad.

Has anyone been buying their bait at Ted's? I'd like to give them the business, but I'm worried to pull up and have the chain be up, then have to backtrack all the way to Big Bear.

Some of the guys I fished with last weekend got their bait there. Nice size locally caught bait at a good price. He is there Friday afternoon Saturday and Sunday as advertised.
