Hey Grump - Thanks. It was a nice day. Access and deep snow on the lake limits fishing pressure (until March at least). Snow machine or 4x4 only now. A bit more snow and I won't be getting out there either  .

just finished posting on the manitoba forum. not too bad a weekend, but we haven't been trying for large northerns. i'm waiting for the start of the tourney and hope to hook the one grumpier lost on saturday.    tipup, think you should post your pic on the manitoba forum. grump  8)---that picture looks alot like ??falcon lake???

Did you release the fish? Only asking because iv'e found when they egt that big not so good for eating and well they are worthwhile to catchso i figured you might as well release it so someone else can have the same fun u have had. Just a thought.
