I was wondering what a few of your favorite pike lures are? my favorites so far are the northland tackle buckshot spoon and do-jiggers

For ice lures I would say probably a jigging rapala or a bigger spoon. I think live or dead bait works best though through the ice.

Winter pike on tip-ups I like to use a smelt on a quick strike rig.
When I am jigging I have had good luck with a Northland whistler jig and a curly tail grub or a rubber salamander and jig.

I am new to ice fishing and i was wondering what a quick set rig is? ON my tip-ups i just suspend a do jigger of a swedish pimple.

A quick-strike rig is usually made up of a small treble hook and a single hook or two treble hooks on wire or two. It is made so it can fit any sized bait. When I rig one I like to place one hook near the head of the bait and one between the dorsal and the tail. The pike like to grab there prey side ways usually near the head, so with this rig you should get a solid hookup, they are usually hooked in edge of the mouth so it makes it easier to release them. I belieev thies is a quick strike rig, Im going out tommorrow, Ill take a pick of one and post it if I gte the chance to, hopefully in a pikes mouth

Yup that's a quick strike rig, one hook near the head, one towards the tail.
