Has anyone driven by there and seen if anyone is fishing?

I heard north of Hohnke Road has 3-4" in some areas and some areas that are unsafe.

I would think a few days should help a lot.

Stopped by Bingham Road boat launch today 01-14-2022

People have been fishing it and there was one shack out that I could see.

Did not check the ice though.

Fished South Lake Leelanau tonight Saturday 01-15-2022

About 5" of clear ice with a couple of inches of snow in places.

Lots of people, even a couple of snowmobiles.

Not even a bump tonight. Only saw two flags and they were small walleye that they threw back.

But it's still great to get out in the fresh air

Was in fife today.... Couple dozen dink perch.... 2 flags... One was a walleye wife lost at the hole other was a small pike maybe 18 to 20 inches

 Pride of the day.....  Lmao smaller than my finger.... Some of them were about 6 inches but nothing over
