Drove by Long Lake today and it was frozen over

I didnt have my spud with me so I will check the ice tomorrow.

Hopefully, we don't get a bunch of snow on it like we usually do, which pushes us out to mid-late January 

Just past Gilbert Park, I did see my favorite bird on the lake, several hundred feet out from Skiver road, and it made my day!

Hi all, new to the forum. Buddies and I got a place reserved on East side and middle of Long Lake in Traverse City for mid Feb We've never fished it and are looking for any tips to target Pike, Walleye, and Perch.  Not looking for anyone's hotspots, just some advice.  Thanks in advance and tight lines!!

Just checked Crescent Shore boat launch this morning. Barely 2 inches of ice, but good clear ice. Needs a couple more days before I go out there

Just got back from Gilbert Park Sunday 1-02-2022
Not as good as Cresent shores, but Gilbert park always seems to be a bit behind Taylor park and Cresent shores.
Got out about 15 feet and the ice thinned, one hit went through pretty easy.
Plus four inches of new snow. But it's cold, so not heavy wet snow.
Shouldn't be too long.

Drove by Long lake today 01-14-2022

They have been fishing all 3 access points.

I did not check the ice but a guy in Long Lake Grocery across from Taylor park said 3 to 6"
