Kid friendly trout lakes near Bangor?

I am new to Maine and am trying to get my 3 year old out to catch some fish through the ice.  Can anyone give me some good suggestions on locations for trout near Bangor where the fishing is consistently good.  Not worried about catching the trophy fish just want a place that's close so my son can get out and hopefully have a few flags pop up.  Thanks in adavnce!!!

I think the most important thing is to have someone who knows how to catch fish take your son out on the ice for a day. Do you have a good looking brother who catches more fish than you? :D

try pickeral pond in Milford as its a kids only lake.

you could also try Hopkins Pond in Clifton  8)

kids only pond should produce well less presure i would think!!
