My future in-laws wanted me to keep a laker for their friends to try. Their friends own a pizza shop. When I brought them the lake trout yesterday afternoon and showed them my pictures they were all excited and they ended up giving me a free 8-cut pizza for the laker. Talk about a heck of a deal. I thanked them and told them I'd bring them more.

You might want to Smoke one of those Lakers, then layer it onto the Pizza. Bet that would be even better than Anchovies!

No thanks, I can't stand the taste of fish

would rather have smoked bacon on the pizza.

I am with you Roy! I wish I had a connection like that for my lakers. I love all types of fish, except for sewer trout. I would trade them for a pizza any day!

Naw if I go laker fishing it is in LG. I have to see if I have to boil sap this weekend first though.

never tried burbot but I have tried: trout, lakers, bass, perch, sunfish, catfish, bullhead, cod, whitefish, salmon, flounder and fish sticks,

the odd thing is I like tunafish, clams, and calimari. $:-\$

In Maine they call em togue. In Southwestern Vermont, Lakers, especially those taken from Lake Champlain, are called Sewer Trout. Not to be confused to the close relative the finless brown.
