How many have you caught this season? I got it figured at close to 1100 gills and 350 crappies so far.No eyes,one bass, and one sheaphead.My buddies think I am figureing low on the gills ,but I have kept a pretty good log of most of my trips .

Not nearly enough.

Likely around 75 fish, a mixed bag of tiger, rainbow and brown trout, pike, perch, and walleye.

1 trip-0 fish in 6 hours of fishing so far. Going to give it another shot tomorrow.

I've pulled in at least thirty nice rainbows, five lakers, three nice walleye, and a dozen perch: what I didn't keep was the slimy little
jack (pike) that I caught while perch fishing. Ive caught a few skunks as well this year....but nothing to match the 10 lb muskrat that I snagged up through the ice while fishing for rainbows last year...it was DEFINITELY not a keeper.

10-12 Keeper walleyes 15-20 dinks 7 or 8 trips, hope to get out this weekend, spend the night on the lake, those numbers could change

If your doubting me, I have been out 41 times since dec 1st and have only had 2 trips where I didnt catch at least 30 fish.1 trip I had over 200.You do the math.

two outings without a skunk this year. first was only a dink perch so that may not count! last week iced one laker. out for wally this weekend!

Out once so far. 3 pike on 5 flags in 2 hours. I forgot my pliers and didnt want to turn them loose with the hooks still in them, so I ended up with a bloody mess of a finger that wouldnt stop bleeding. Worth it, though.

Have gotten out a few times but havnt had much luck lately, only one decent day, so far i have probably around 10 pickerel and half a dozen perch.

Probably about 250 Crappie, 4 gills, 1 pike, and about a half a dozen perch. And its still only the end of January. Hopefully I got a good 2 months yet.

Zero ice equals zero trips equals zero fish............unless dreaming becomes part of the equation.

I can't believe it, but this Saturday (Jan 27th) will be my first visit to the ice. WOW, two months ago I was thinking that I only had one month until the start of ice fishing.

This weekends goal:
40 gills
3 northerns (keep the small one for eaten and release the other two).

I can't wait!!

Everyday I checkout this site and look at the pictures and dream of the day.............Saturd ay

In 10 trips to the ice this far about 70 walleye 3 perch

and 4 pike. we are also dealing with 24to 26 ins of ice right now as well.

Send me some of those walleyes...and I understand about the ice....too much is as bad as too little...it is a good thing

sounds like i need to move north i would rather deal with extensions and too thick of ice then my survival suit and shaky ice.

probably 10 trips in Indiana. between me and my buddy we have caught close to 200 bluegill.

I just got back from an 8 day ice fishing trip in NE Wisconsin with some buddies. I caught 12 Walleyes ranging from 14" to 29". In addition I caught 11 Pike - all in the 24"-35" range. Panfish were at a premium - I caught only 6 gills, 4 perch and 2 crappie. A cold snap came in as we were getting there and shut pretty much everything down. Not to worry, we managed to have loads of fun in spite of the fish not cooperating.

WELL seeing that I started fishin november 33rd, I caught at least 52.6 fish each trip, and enjoy standing out there in my boxer shorts and fliflops, I think Ill start a post to validate my catch because I know nobody will have numbers that come close and it will make me feel better about the flipflops.

You coulda made a TON of money selling directions to that lake in NY that had ice in november,Think of all the flip flops you could buy
