After hearing the predictions from the farmers almanac predicting a colder winter I was elated.Maybe just maybe my area will have fishable ice for a change.The good news was short lived,I had my 6th month check up from my 2nd back surgery,only to hear the news I will need a third back surgery.My first and second have not been successes.It is even possible I will miss deer season along with ice fishing,depending on how soon it can be set up.Im still holding onto all my ice gear,it's been unused for the last two seasons,perhaps we will finally make the move to Elkhart upping my odds for ice a little.
