St. Paul Ice Fishing Show 2010
« on: Aug 24, 2010, 12:40 PM »
While sitting in front of the monitor visions of Ice Fishing are starting to overwhelm me. So I thought I would Google Ice Fishing Shows 2010. Sure enough the St. Paul Ice Fishing Show has a schedule for 2010.

Dec. 3-5 Same place as usual.

I wanted to go the last couple of years but haven't made it yet.  I keep thinking this is the year.  I'm only afraid I might spend too much money!

For anyone who hasn't attended, all I can say it is amaizing. If you can't find what you're looking for there, you don't need it.

I wanted to stop by the IS booth and meet Skipper, but he was busy with a crowd of other IS fanatics!

It sure sounds like I will be there again this year. I don't have a booth number yet, but I am almost sure we are on.

Hope to see you all there!

I'll be there for sure.  My wife and I go every year, it's a great way to kick off the season.  Nothing like a show full of stuff you really want, but have no money to buy.  You can find deals though, just gotta know how to talk to 'em.  It's fun to look though!  I'll have to stop by, I don't remember seeing the booth last year.  I'll keep an eye out now that I'm a member.  I helped a tackle shop take down their booth and restock their actual store last year, if you need any assistance Skipper I'd be willing to see if I could help.

We were right next to Capra's last year, right out in the middle on the main drag.

I should be set for help, but if you get bored before the show opens come hunt us down! It is pretty cool to be in there the hour before the public gets in. You can actually get to speak to all the big names on a one on one basis. You also get to play with the new stuff without the crowds.

The downside is carrying tables, chairs, banners and other stuff up some stairs, down some stairs, across one of the busiest streets in St. Paul, up some more stairs, down an escalator, over everyone elses crap, and then setting it up. After that, one of those $7 beers in a plastic bottle sounds like a bargain!!! You get your workout man!

It's all worth it!

Skipper,
As an exibitor you can pull in the back of the river center and drive right in to unload your stuff! You will be right behind the curtains where the seminars are.

There has been a two hour wait for the docks in the last few years. I would rather get the workout than wait!! ;D

I have been looking forward to this since I missed it last year. This will be my first trip and I think I even convinced my better half to go on Friday and get a motel so we can get a fresh early start on Saturday. Looking forward to meeting other IS members.

I'll be there.  Missed the last couple years, so really looking forward to it.  It is awesome!  Bring lots of cash, because you will find way more to buy than you planned on.

Cheap? All I know is I'm always broke when I leave. There's deals to be had, but it's no garage sale.
