NWPA Ice

Looking forward to being on Presque Isle Bay and Pymatuming this weekend with my brother and a couple of good friends.
It's been cold here just like everywhere else.  Ice has been decent on the bay for the past couple weekends.
A bucket of perch with a few 'eyes in it would be grand.
Hopefully have a report by Monday.

You are to easy to find.  Good time fishing.  Ion is a sweet piece of equipment.   Just need to find some weather that we can mobilize a bit.  This weekend was some tough fishing.  Good days will follow.

Nothing going on at PI. In fact they blocked off a portion of the road due to the high winds and drifting snow I would imagine. This weekend starting Wednesday warming up to the mid 20's. Ice at Misery Bay the other day was 12"

Ion worked superb.  Fishing wasn't that great.  Almost had a heart attack pulling my sled.  Thankfully I had some smokes in the car.  Built a new sled out of old skies.  Pulls the kids ok should pull gear better.  Marcum Showdown 5.6 ETA is tomorrow.  Might have to take a half day at work and get an early assault on bay perch.

We fished Misery Saturday.  Pymatuming on Sunday with not much luck.  Hopefully these fronts moving through will stir these fish up and get them to bite.
