                  Raquettedacker in New York started this  a few yrs. ago & it's still going
                     Here where I live jn N.Y. it's 24* a falling. :clap:  How cold is it there? ???

I'm not trying to steal your topic, I think it's the best ongoing topic on the N.Y. site. I don't know why someone hasn't started it in every state, after all I did give props for starting it. :bow:

Our first "ice-making" weather of the season:

NWS forecast for Concord, NH on 12/10/2011

Tonight: Clear, with a low around 15. North wind around 5 mph becoming calm.

Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 37. Light west wind.

Sunday Night: Clear, with a low around 17. Calm wind.

           We all need the low temps to make ice, some small fishable ponds have started to ice up. We had 1 iceing up last week but this weeks rain & winds broke it all up. I went yeaterday to check 2 out.

Real cold here this am, 15 degrees. The pond right near my house that I fish is totally skimmed over, hopefully thats a good sign. I was on it the 16th last year.........

I accidentally left the dog's water bowl outside last night. It was all frozen by the morning.

For a second I was going to get the auger out and see if I could jig up something...

               28* here now but warming up, not really good temps for making ice. Any pond that has ice shouldn't lose any but not much will be made either.
