I was wondering if its btter to use straight flurocarbon on a tip up or just use for a leader? i used braided in the past for pike. I fish very clear water.

Go with long enough leaders so the tipup line isn’t coming down into water leave the braid on the spool floro will not come off as easy many other advantages that I don’t feel like typing on why not to use floro on the spool
